a friend recently sent me thank you note. hand written. via u.s. mail. how quaint, i thought. no, wait. that wasn’t quaint. that was awesome!
not sure if the weapon of choice was a montblanc meisterstuck ballpoint — super popular 20ish or so years ago. and still lethal.
i, myself, prefer a piece from elsa peretti’s tiffany arsenal….
whatever your pleasure, writing has become a long lost art. time consuming. you bet. but if you receive a ‘billet-doux’ in longhand, you’ll know it came from the heart. but beware, such a missive might capture yours.
