i had the pleasure of meeting david adjaye a couple years ago. i am in awe of his talent. this amazing tanzanian architect has designed what will be the last of the smithsonian museums on the mall in washington dc. fittingly, it is the national museum of african american history and culture due to be completed and dedicated before president obama leaves office.

  1. I am very familiar with this Architect’s work, as he did a housing building in Harlem, and someone who was my Asst. Mgr. @ Herman Miller NYC, and is an Interior Designer dong her own thing knows him! Remarkable there is even a Museum of this magnitude no less “dedicated” to African American history, which is long overdue. But, as the saying goes – better late than never! Congratulations to David Adjaye and his Team! Above all, the brilliant mind of Lonnie Bunch, III – Director of the Museum for bringing the very “rich” history of black America forward and to the light! Bless them ALL who are involved with this project, inclusive of a most impressive Board of Directors — AMEN to you all not only for your individual contributions to society, but for believing in the vision of hope for ALL our folk as a testament to this WONDERFUL project – thank you one and ALL!
