this guy is due to be installed on new york city’s high line in the next couple of weeks. in 2014, the sculpture – painted bronze and very lifelike – caused quite a stir on the campus of wellesley college. the coeds were not amused.

It is not so much the fact he is in his bvd’s, but he looks dead, has NO appeal for me whatsoever, and I am sure “some” New Yorkers will love it due to the controversial aspect of it after living in NYC myself past! Will be just another crazy NY thing – always something for everyone there for sure!!!
