“Lunch Bag” from Simon Miller.

i am officially afraid of phoebe. too talented, too effortless, too chic, for any good use. season after season, she never ceases to amaze.
as i mentioned on my ‘insta’, i’ve moved my celine ‘all soft’ shoulder bag — circa 2013 — into my fall 2017 rotation. although it still suffers from ‘heavy when empty’ syndrome, it remains modern…which never goes out of style.

it bags come and it bags go. but really, if you’re looking for a classic that’ll stand the test of time — and if you’re not…you should be — it’s all about the speedy. pricey, but not too. neither too big nor too small. welcome to a ‘just right’ goldilocks moment. she doesn’t scream ‘i’m a designer handbag’, she just sighs, ‘i’m fashionable and smart’…and perfectly utilitarian. guaranteed to be around long after the it bag of the year. put her on your wish list. hurry.

named for the parisian street location of the first louis vuitton store, the capucines (unfortunately) falls under the heading of ‘it bag’. but…i predict she has staying power. she’s chic and she whispers. smart girl.
