imagine being one of the chic set who received this invitation to warhol’s installation at philly’s institute of contemporary art circa 1965.
you’d probably get it framed too.

the ultra talented ms. walker is at it again.

seems i need to contact british airways.
amidst the hideous weather we’re enduring here in the northeast…
it’s also the time of year to visit the various art shows in the area. i’m an art lover and modest collector, but the lovely ms. winfrey really knows how to parlay a purchase.

i intend to visit the elegant lady below at nyc’s neue gallery before she disappears somewhere off in the far east

visit a gallery. see art. it’s good for you.
re-blogging….the museum dedication ceremony took place yesterday…

i had the pleasure of meeting david adjaye a couple years ago. i am in awe of his talent. this amazing tanzanian architect has designed what will be the last of the smithsonian museums on the mall in washington dc. fittingly, it is the national museum of african american history and culture due to be completed and dedicated before president obama leaves office.
